Look, the point is, even just an Avengers vs Street Fighter (if Disney insists on Avengers-only) would be nuts as long as the tagging, assists, damage and combos are dialed-in, multiplayer netcode is good, and the story is nice enough to give spine to the crossover . Hell, with your pull I bet you can even get voice work from the MCU  cast.

I got angry watching that but then I took a step back sometime later, and realized no matter what the sequence of events and who did/did not do x,y,z , Thanos will get back the gauntlet and get his way. Remember Dr.Strange’s visions?

That doesn’t excuse anything. He potentially threw half the universe away just so he could beat up Thanos a little bit for a second. Whether or not the plan to get the gauntlet off him would have actually worked doesn’t mean starlord isn’t still a gigantic stupi d ass for jeopardizing it.

Y’know if they’d had just one more Avenger with them (my vote would have been Ant-Man, though that might have been too easy, and admittedly he was on the opposite side of Civil War as Ironman & Spider-Man , and getting him to NY could have been a stretch ) they could have pulled it off. Someone to pause or deflect Peter’s rage , or continue to contain Thanos after Mantis sedated him, etc. Thor would have been too easy, Black Panther wouldn’t have contributed anything definitively different than Stark and Parker, etc.

True, but he is part human, and raised mostly by Ravagers, so taking a step back to pause and reflect and then acting probably isn’t something he’s been exposed to. He’s extremely impulsive and selfish to a point (up to his extended family, and Xandar yo an extent), so it’s within his character. Still pretty immature, of course.

It’s dead. Not even Thanos and the infinity gauntlet can bring back MvC. At least we have DBFZ now. It lives on in spirit if not in flesh.

Eh, I think it’s doable with the right mindset (easier said than done, I know) . Go back to basics, just run with Avengers vs Street Fighter (think X-Men vs Street Fi ghter ) because barring Thor, Wanda, Vision and Strange the MCU is relatively pedestrian before Infinity War . Infinity Gems aren’t separate items but meter.

Also, I really, REALLY wanna see Akuma do to Thanos what he was doing to Asura or M. Bison wielding the Infinity Gauntlet. Those would be fun.

DBFZ is indeed the superior tag fighter, though, that is correct. Hype as shit too. The following fight is in Top 48.
